Untuk itu maka pendidikan kejuruan harus melakukan langkah-langkah konkrit dalam penyiapan tenaga kerja yang mampu berkompetisi dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan di dunia usaha/industri. Kerja sama antara sekolah dengan industri merupakan langkah yang strategis yang harus dilakukan untuk secara bersama-sama mendidik dan melatih serta membentuk karakter siswa untuk kepentingan bersama. “Sistem ijon” adalah merupakan terobosan dan langkah baru dalam penyaluran tamatan sekolah menengah kejuruan secara efektif dan efisien. Dengan “sistem ijon” siswa akan dipesan oleh industri sebelum mereka tamat, sehingga setelah tamat mereka langsung ditempatkan kerja di industri. Kata Kunci: partisipasi masyarakat industri, rekrutmen tenaga kerja, sistem ijon.
Sabtu (10/03) bertempat di Gedung C Lt.4 SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta sebanyak 250 siswa-siswi mengikuti pelaksanaan Test Ijon dengan PT. Yamaha Music, kegiatan yang di mulai dari pukul 08.00 WIB seluruh peserta sudah berada di ruang aula dengan seragam hitam putih, kegiatan di awali dengan pengenalan profil PT. Yamaha Music. Proses selanjutnya peserta test melaksanakan ujian psikotes, jika peserta dinyatakan lulus maka akan lanjut tahap interview dan selanjutnya.
